| As there isn't a TV/Anime forum, I'm putting this in Movies, but basically: What anime/movies would you recommend to other people?
I, personally, would recommend Outlaw Star, s-CRY-ed, and Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann. Lucky Star is also good, although I like to refer to it as the Seinfeld of Anime and so you should be warned. The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya is also a good series, as is Yakitate!! Japan - though if you want to watch Yakitate!!, you have to like puns. Or at least not be tremendously bothered by them; there are a lot of puns in that sucker. Claymore's a decent seinen series, although it apparently differs massively from the manga.

| There's gonna be a few repeats in here, but eh.
FLCL - The single most amazing anime I have ever seen. Seriously. And it's only six episodes long, so you have no excuse. Go watch it now. Your mind = blown.
Fate/Stay Night - Gotta be the best action series I've ever seen. Even though it suffers from annoying-main-character syndrome, it's animation is absolutely beautiful and the fight scenes are epic.
Azumanga Daioh - An amusing, if rather pointless show. It's good for a laugh.
The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi - Kind like Azumanga Daioh, except better. And it actually has a storyline. A definite reccomendation for anyone who likes to poke fun at stereotypes.
Trigun - Also a good action series, with some odd bits of humor tossed in. It's really deep, too.
Oh, and I'm also going to start Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann once I'm done with Avatar. | |
