Appearance: Aaron is a tall, young man with black hair, gray eyes, and an inability to grow facial hair beyond a few embarrassingly scraggly beard hairs. Fair-skinned, with thin hands and bright eyes, Aaron carries himself proudly, showing his full height and possibly adding an inch or two out of posture. He generally wears a long coat, high boots, close-fitting gloves, and glasses.

Bio: Aaron was born into a family of craftsmen with a great lack of ability to be a craftsman. His fingers weren't nimble, his hands unsure, his eyes having difficulty looking without glasses. Despite being born into a family of watchmakers, clockmakers, and blacksmiths, Aaron was unable to be a competent member of any of his family's trades. Nor, in fact, did he want to. In school, he excelled in history, literature, and magic theory, and as he continued he found an odd but fundamental link between Black and White Magic, one that others had found before. Termed Red Magic, he studied the Red Mage's path more thoroughly than anything he had ever studied. After some independent study, preferring that to Mage's college, he set off on his own to test his theory in the vast, uncharted waters of his life ahead and the great, unknown to Aaron map of the world. Setting off with only his theory and his wits, he began looking for other people who would travel with him, seeking to become world renowned.

Appearance: Narya is a slim, short girl who looks younger than her age, appearing as young as 10 or 11. Her brown hair is short enough that if she wore the right clothes and adopted the right posture she could be mistaken for a boy. Flat-chested and glad for it, she often dresses in black and dark gray. Her green eyes are often looking through tinted goggles, and she keeps her pistol at her side at all times.

Bio: After her mother died giving birth to her, Narya was "raised" by her father, inasmuch as she lived in the house of said drunk, depression-ridden, half-broken shell of a man as she grew to age 10. 10 was the age she ran away from home at, taking her father's gun with her. After making it to the next town over, she began to try to make money through crime, mostly theft and mugging, and she learned how to wield her gun. This would change when she attempted to rob a tall, black-haired man with gray eyes. That man, Aaron Yrnan, would take her under his wing after meeting her and learning her story (although he did have to keep her on a short leash for a few days as she kept trying to steal from people). She looks up to him as a sort of cool older brother figure.

Name: Elias Wolen

Personality: Creepy

Appearance: Elias's eyes always appear haunted. That much, beyond anything, is what people notice when they look into his black eyes. That, combined with the cord of blond hair that falls down his back, the fact that his mouth is always covered by a scarf of varying color (usually blue or green), and his penchant for spying on people, manage to make him appear very scary. In addition, he wears a kasa (bamboo hat) and usually dresses in browns apart from his scarf. In addition, he carries with him a knife, usually hidden up a sleeve. While he rarely speaks, his voice lacks almost all emotion, and has nothing but the barest hints of inflection.

Age: 22

Bio: Elias doesn't talk much about his past, though this may be because he purposely distances himself from it. What others have managed to piece together, however, is this: Originally, Elias was a noble or military officer. Due to either being disowned or dishonorably discharged, he left his previous life behind. Meeting Aaron at the beginning of the young man's quest, he hammered out an arrangement that involved Elias scouting for Aaron. Elias is very much a scout.
