Specifically, a concern about the length limit in the fanfiction forum. Specifically, I'm trying to post the first chapter of a fanfic, and it's saying it's too long. As this is 6 pages in word and by no stretch of the imagination the longest chapter I've ever written for a fanfic (that prize would go to a twenty-some-odd page behemoth that ended up being Chapter 3 of a story that's almost already as long as my longest-running story) I was wondering what, exactly, the length limit is, and whether it could be increased and/or done away with for the fanfiction forum. This isn't so much a concern for posting the Really Long Fic (that one I'm limiting to Fanfiction.net for various reasons) but it's a concern in case I want to post more six-to-ten page chapters.
Subject: I realize this seems like spamming, but I've got a concern.
