| Supposing you were forced to lose one of your two major senses, sight and hearing, for whatever reason. Which would you choose and why? | |

| Hearing, because pretty much everyone begins to lose that as they grow older. | |

| Sight. I've always wondered what life would be like blind. | |

| Hearing. Deaf people can still read lips, still use a computer, and still see where they're going. Blind people can use telephones, but that's about it. | |

| I don't know. I love both. Sight is beautiful. But music is about my favorite thing in the whole world...I'd go crazy with either and prolly kill myself. Seriously, the people (not born with it), how do they deal with it? Tougher than I, I suppose. | |

Actually, they've got software that lets blind people use the computer, and you can always get a cane or seeing-eye dog. Lip-reading may be kinda difficult, but there's lots of other stuff you can do. | |

| Sight. Sure, it may make the piano hard as hell, but at least I can still hear. | |

| Life is still much more convenient for deaf people than blind ones--and it's a hell of a lot easier to get hearing aids than seeing aids (in the same sense of the word). | |

| That's true, and many famous musicians and composers went deaf. They could still play and write music. They just couldn't hear it. | |
